Art is back!!!!

Finally my passion for art is back, its become something i like to do again. I think anyone that has done an art course knows that when there is a great pressure on you to churn out art, it stops being art. Art is meant to mean something to the artist, well, i believe good art should anyway, but after a while on an art course you start to tick boxes. And ticking these boxes kills any passion you had for the subject.
But now doing this course has made me find my love for art all over again. You not asked to mass produce art on this course but the questions some lecturers ask of you can be answered artistically. And that is amazing.

2:1

Oh my god, i just took my first test in Visual Basic script language! And i got a 2:1, i am so amazed at myself right now. I know it's only my first test and it's only the basics but i do art, never before have i done computers!!! WOW

Lovin' it!!!

I have to admit that this course was a really last minute choice on my part but i'm lovin' it! I come from a pure art background and had never thought that my creativity could be put to any other uses then what i had experienced in school.
I-dat is a whole new idea and mind set!!!
It's a more creative based degree then it lets on, but it is so much more realistic than those you can achieve at the art school. Hardly any people in the UK have the job of a graphic/interior designer which is what most art degrees can set you up for but the whole world is moving forward with digital technologies and there are no shortages of jobs. I am excited to be part of the future. The prospect of being part of a inovative industry at the forefront of the technological development is exciting!
